Shared neutrals

This is a typical installation in Chicago and surrounding area. Every thing is in conduit and it makes sense to share neutrals, to cut down on load bearing conductors, and conduit fill.

Id say if your going to Home inspect in this area you might want to study the Chicago electrical code. Other wise your going to get a lot of things wrong.

I agree..as things vary from one region to another, you MUST be up on not only the NEC but also all Local Codes and amendments, and if you're gonna be inspecting services get your local POCO's specs as well, would hate to see you call out an in-wall service riser when it is allowed. ;)

And despite my own bias against MWBC's, they are allowed in unlimited numbers as long as proper leg connections and breaker ties (if applicable) are followed.
