The GFCI compares hot current to neutral current (not ground). Your situation sounds weird. I can't imagine how being used on a multi-wire circuit, by itself, would cause a problem. But if you're using the load side I can imagine lots of problems.

Edit: I thought it should also be mentioned that the comparison happens AFTER the "line connection terminals". :)

Common neutral after the line side :roll: WHY DOES It KEEP tripping?????????DUH

technically a multi-circuit neutral sharing is possible if the output is a DP GFCI disconnect to the load side(s). (i.e. a hot tub circuit.}
