Shock Block - GFCI Protection

I am considering using the attached GFCI protective device for some kitchen equipment. What I am not sure is if this device would require the same working clearance for electrical equipment. My first though is it would not. But based on the data this does have trip settings.

If you are using this to comply with some rule in the NEC, you cannot use the version with adjustable trip settings. You need to use the version with "Fixed 6 mA (UL 943) or 20 mA (UL 943C) trip level".
In general, I see all types of equipment as being likely to be examined while energized, triggering the requirement for 110.26(A) work spaces. For something like this, only your AHJ can tell you if the 110.26(A) workspace is required.
