Does someone make a similar device that is a switch with a little state memory so that the light only comes on half the time when power is applied?

Hey those flashers are fun, I once put one in the plumbers drop light and it really freaked him out:D . I enjoyed that so much that a couple of days later I got a plug-in one and connected to the cord for his drill motor:grin: . But he almost got hurt when it came back on :mad: , but it was still fuuny as h*** :grin: :grin: :grin: . I don't work near that guy anymore;) .

My first hand experiences ended when a single #16 wire comprised the EGC.
 
from an apprentice in nov. '04 to master elec/engineer in oct. '07. you've made great strides my friend. at least you're asking though, and i like that about you.
