I have a journeyman's license for the state of Texas (I don't stay in Texas. I stay in Louisiana). I keep the license active because I reasoned that it might one day come in hand. I haven't used it thus far so I wonder if you think it is worth it to pay for the renewal and the CEU class?

The other question you have to ask is, is it worth the hassle of trying to get it again if you do need it?
I got my license 20+ years ago and haven't used it in over 15, but I hold on to it (inactive) just in case.

Yup. trying to get it again, here they require 8,000 hours to get the J-man a lot of hours of school and work, plus the CEU's inactive sounds the best way to go.

I dropped my St louis county license because I never used it now i need it and am going to have to retest. Big pain but a lesson learned.
