Lets be clear here...I never said I would use a GFCI on a heat trace circuit...I just said I don't believe it is a code violation if you do.We did establish that and I said I felt it's a good guideline, but it's not the real issue. The issue was GFCI vs. GFP. Don, insists on using GFCI, but 427.22 says GFEP, which has been the real debate. Our current debate is this a code violation or not.
He says he's a stubborn old guy, but really he's just standing his ground as am I. lol
