Hey guys!

I have a couple of these relay modules that have their contacts reversed when I ring them out. I'll hooking then up to some VFD's that I need to leave running but since my normally closed contacts are open, I'd need to flip to the NO side to keep my drives going.

This is a new install on an existing panel and the floor hasn't been programmed yet. I did try adding the module to my SLC, thinking it needed a logic input, but alas the result was the same.

At this point I'm hooking them up so my drives stay running and after programming I'll such the wires as needed.

Annoying experience this?

My guess is that if you see the NO contact as closed most of the time the relay is actually being energized most of the time.
Have you metered the input to the relay module?

Are you metering them off the loop? I know with the Siemens relay modules (HTRI-R) you can force them to change state by rapping them on a desk or other hard surface. They have to be on a loop and run through a reset cycle on the panel to assume their normal state. Assuming of course that someone didn't program that module to be "on" for some reason.
