I have to retrofit new duct detectors into a simplex 4 wire non-addressable system. All of the duct detectors have a Pam relay and all of the Pam relays control k relays for fan shutoffs. I. Previous installs on this job we looped the 24vdc + through the nc contacts of the pams so when a detector fired it dropped power yo the no contacts of the k relays. My question is this, on this phase we are going to have the Pam and k relays grouped seperayely and +24vdc will go through no more than one or two pams before hitting a k relay. How will the other k relays know to drop out?
