This is an old plant built in late 50’s. They’ve got single conductors running through handholes and manholes, ty-wrapped together and loosely supported along non metallic supports, every two to three feet. It looks gawdy to say the least and I’m thinking the jacketing just isn’t suited for this kind of installation. Mostly it is #14 - # 12AWG control/signaling cable with a few 480VAC circuits using #10’S to small HP motors. The majority is 1/C, XHHW or THWN.
