2/3ph and 3/2ph is well known, but 3ph to 1ph that is a puzzler. (provided it is an evenly loaded primary and a true single phase secondary) Now if they are building a 480V, 3ph delta to 120/240 single phase output and building it robust enough to stand the heating of the single phase loading - that's not such a puzzler.
I looked at their website - no help. Sigh. I wonder how they do that:-?:-? That could be some new science for me.
Evenly loaded is relative. But there is no magic and it's not smoke and mirrors with a Scott-T type connection it is possible to get close to a 90% balance.
