Single phase nomenclature

Designing a monitoring panel for a single phase system. Trying to figure out how to label the meters and such.
When you refer to the voltage on each hot leg of a single phase system what do you say?
Some suggestions already have been.
Phase A 120v
Phase B 120v
Phase A + B 240v

Leg A 120v
etc
etc

Leg 1 120v
etc
etc

Line A 120v
etc
etc

Line 1 120v
etc
