We are considering using fuses instead of circuit breakers in a building power system to assist in short circuit coordination. What happens to the secondary voltage and the kVA rating of a dry transformer if only one primary phase is lost (i.e. only one of the three primary fuses blows?)
Are there other risks in using fuses (without a common trip function) instead of circuit breakers (with a common trip function) for primary transformer protection?
