One 20A breaker, one branch circuit feeding direct wire six of these fans each fan is 120V, 1/20HP.

Do I need overload protection, motor controller at these fans, do I need to have each individual branch circuits to these fans or one branch circuit feeding six of them good?

I am guessing its in NEC 2017 section 430.53(A).

I am just not sure if the fan have overload protection and rating of fan controller in 450.53(A)(2)(3)??

But imagine if these fans are plugged in then and all circuits provided by 20A breaker.

However in my case its direct hard wire

Manufacturer instruction nor spec on that site say it either
