Size of grounds

Hello , Hello, if we have two different circuits with ground number 10 and 12 can we start with 10 awg and then go down to 12 awg in a junction box for the circuit number 12 awg ? Thanks

If I understand correctly yes, you can do that. The #10 ground protects the 30 amp circuit and then you can reduce it down to #12 for the 20 amp circuit

In other words, yes, a single EGC sized for the largest circuit may serve multiple circuits.
