When a calculated demand load for a multi-family building is applied,does the NEC state that the Main has to be at a 125% on TOP of the calculated demand load?

When you get to sizing the service, you will find it is less than the total of all individual calculated loads.

When you use Article 220 to caculate the load,
the 1.25 factor is not required.
