Skipping '20

I guess NE is going to skip the '20 code cycle. It would have saved me a couple hundred bucks if they would have decided that a couple years ago. Builders complained about the added costs of AFCI.

I wonder what they think of the $70 per for sheeting?

Yeah. I walked my wife through the plywood aisle last weekend and she almost had a stroke.

My nephew is building a new house. Several years ago his buddy suggested he buy sheeting at the $10 range it was at. Nope.
He jumped on it earlier this year when it was down into the $30s. Smiling at that price but still lamenting on missing the earlier.
He has cash and a good place to store it.
