So I have these banks of 4" conduits(red) and 1/C #500 MC cables shown below. I've asked for the wall construction....CMU etc.
This is new construction. Most of the runs are on 3-4 tier trapeze racks.
1. Would the wall type e.g. CMU/block or studs and sheet rock determine whether I need to sleeve or firestop?
I'm trying to determine quantity of sleeves and firestopping needed through walls. I under firestop is needed for a fire rated wall but not clear for CMU block wall how it would be "sealed" up if the concrete trade left a "window" for our conduits/cables to pass through.
