I don't know if it's "Snakebus," but our computer room has outlets at the end of what I'd call 'giant BX' cables. The flexible innards are wrapped in gray or blue plastic. Some are quad 120v outlets; others are twist-lock sockets (of assorted sizes); I think some have plug-and-twist-ring sockets. We move 'em where the equipment is installed. They may be intended to be waterproof...
We also have purple and yellow water sensing strands under the floor just in case...
--just browsed the brochure. We do not have Snakebus. S-bus looks interesting, as long as you can get on the bus. In the example, #3 looks like the bus is farther from the end point than the first picture shows-- #3 has a longer cord!

It is listed to UL 183 Standard for Manufactured Wiring Systems.
Is the IT room compliant with Article 645 with EPO's etc? The wiring system has cords that act as taps and you need to be sure it works with 300.22(C) or 645.
