I need an RF or x10 switch that will work for about 70 yards.

Have any of you had good outcomes with this distance?

It'll need to be controlled from two locations. One in the house and one in the garage. I don't want to use batteries.

Which ones have you used?

Thanks
Buck

That’s a long way to go.

I would try the lutron 434mhz switch & pico remote. I’m not the most familiar with their product line but I know they have at least two different operating frequency models.

I’ve extended a Legrand with Netatmo switch about 50/yds, but I had to put their Zigbee receptacles on the outside of each building to act as repeaters. They operate on 2.4ghz Zigbee.

Even at 434 mhz you’ll probably find yourself mounting an exterior device as a signal repeater.
