Went to a friends house and he wanted to move a few plugs up above a desk he had built in. So sure no problem I will do it for you! Than I pulled the outlet out of the wall and this is what I found........

I wonder how many amperes the co-ax is rated for (I can't seem to find it in Table 310.16)? :D

It absolutely amazes me what some people will do and how dangerous some of it really is to themselves and others. :mad:

What did his TV picture look like??? I can imagine the sound had a 60 cycle hum!!

A fireman next door asked me about looking at a problem he had? I found he had run fixture cord in his concrete slab(directly in the cement) to each of his receptacles! His problem was not related to his installation -- but that was a new one for me!!!

The whole room is wired the same way. I can't believe it worked and didnt burn the house down:roll:
What do you mean by "the same way"? Either one type of wire or the other, or both types in every run?

Added: Was this a DIY addition or porch enclosure?

The 18/2 is bad enough ,... the coax ,..is the ,.. icing on the cake .
