Sorry...pulling this thread out of the depths of cyber space. We used one of these on a job last summer. The sales company let us try it for free as they tried to sell it to us. Yeah, it worked as they said and it is a slick little unit. However, that $3700 price tag is steep. As for it paying for itself in 40 hours...possibly if you're having the forman or GF on the job do your wire lubing. But as was said earlier on this thread, that's what apprentices are for. They do the job a bit more messy than the SoaperMonkey, but they get the job done.
On the plus side...I did get a SoaperMonkey t-shirt out of the salesmen.
