What is the typical calculation cost for maintenance of a Newley install solar system? is it 1-2% of installation cost ?

Over what time period? Does the system have batteries?

Solar systems usually require no regular maintenance, but occasionally repair and eventually inverter replacement. Module cleaning is largely optional or dependent on local conditions. Battery systems usually require more attention, and regular maintenance for some types of batteries.

There is no typical answer to your question, in my opinion.

would you think that a 1.5% maintenance cost is reasonable to add to the implementation cost for budgeting purposes?

See post 2. There is no routine maintenance unless panels will require cleaning. The cost to clean will vary a lot depending on what gets on them that needs cleaned and where the panels are mounted.

If your talking about offering a 10 year warranty on everything, 1.5% is too low, IMO.

the system will be least for ten years just trying to find out if there is a percentage of this least amount that is for maintenance / reliability

As we've said, it's just not a simple question with a typical answer.

Are you trying to budget as payer or budget for quoting including warranty?

What size system and what type of mounting location?
