SPA INSTALLATIONS 680.42 (C)

I want to clarify a code in the nec because it seems that I cannot find a wholesaler that carries cooper SER. under 680.42 (C) requires interior wiring to outdoor installation; a cooper grounding conductor is required. this code would eliminate AL SER. I would like verification of this, can anybody put their 2 cents in.

I have never had a problem obtaining copper SER cable from the larger supply houses. (Rexel, Graybar, Raybro, etc..) It is definitely available, so your local supply house should be able to order it for you if they don't keep it in stock.

Thanks bryan! (Graybar) I have one up the road, forgot all about them. It also bothers me that the commom supply houses around the area won't even order it.
