Well you're the one with the rocket ship in his avatar.
Yes, But is a real rocket. (rocket ship as you kids call them)

I'm just bustin chops, I was watching the landing on C-span when Bob started this thread. I still think its way cool.

And thanks for the heads up Bob.

here is one of the facilities I worked on.When I worked on it the mirror image side had been added to make it look like a Tee. One side was damaged beyond repair in the late 1960's so NASA built a 10' thick concrete wall in the blast pit to do structural testing on the shuttles solid rocket boosters. They did a refurb to the test facility that included taking the old wooden light poles down and replacing them with 85' high-mast lighting. The lights on the old poles were 1500 watt incandescents. The concrete tower in the middle is 4' thick and the base goes into the ground 90' and spreads out to 80' x 80' at the bottom (think pyramid)

I have seen it take off and land in person before, amazing, put a shuttle launch on your bucket list.

I was in Florida when they were going to launch one, made plans to be there and it got rained out.
It's still on my bucket list but I may not make it back there before they retire the shuttles.
We did the tour and it is amazing to see what they do there.
Everyone should at least do the tour.

masterinbama, that is cool. I would not be able to keep a smile off my face if I was able to work on stuff like you have.
