Don't forget bonding bushing size that is usually larger than the locknut.
I wouldn't think a BB is larger than a locknut, but now I'll have to dig one up and measure itDon't forget bonding bushing size that is usually larger than the locknut.
I don't think so either. Bonding bushings have removable lugs so that you can spin them on when they're close together. They should not be larger than the locknut.I wouldn't think a BB is larger than a locknut, but now I'll have to dig one up and measure it
This is either incorrect or the wording is confusing. Your statement is about the size of the box, not the spacing between raceways containing the same conductor. 314.28(2) "The distance between raceway entries enclosing the same conductor shall not be less than six times the metric designator (trade size) of the larger raceway."Yes, but that more of an issue for distance to opposite wall of the wireway than for distance between raceway entries.
Six times raceway diameter for angle or U pulls 8 times for straight pulls.
That is reference related to wire bending, cable in cable out. This is either incorrect or the wording is confusing. Yup, up to 2" the OD is EMT is smaller than RMC. 2½" and larger the OD is the same which is why the same strut straps fit both EMT and RMC.
What's even wackier is that RMC is 10' from end to end with a single coupling attached.
if it does you lose containment.Always remember the first rule of conduit: The ID must never exceed the OD.
In the warp core?if it does you lose containment.
