I wouldn't think a BB is larger than a locknut, but now I'll have to dig one up and measure it 🧐
I don't think so either. Bonding bushings have removable lugs so that you can spin them on when they're close together. They should not be larger than the locknut.

Yes, but that more of an issue for distance to opposite wall of the wireway than for distance between raceway entries.

Six times raceway diameter for angle or U pulls 8 times for straight pulls.
This is either incorrect or the wording is confusing. Your statement is about the size of the box, not the spacing between raceways containing the same conductor. 314.28(2) "The distance between raceway entries enclosing the same conductor shall not be less than six times the metric designator (trade size) of the larger raceway."

That is reference related to wire bending, cable in cable out.

Yup, up to 2" the OD is EMT is smaller than RMC. 2½" and larger the OD is the same which is why the same strut straps fit both EMT and RMC.

What's even wackier is that RMC is 10' from end to end with a single coupling attached.

Let's just leave out RobRoy conduits and strut straps

You are right.

But you ever try to pull large conductors into wireway that isn't sized similarly? Short nipple to adjacent items isn't so bad if conductor ends in that item but a long pull like this is a pain and you have higher risk of abrasion of conductors on edge of wireway as well.
