Speaker Cabling

If speaker wiring is installed above a lay-in ceiling and it is distributed at 70V is it required to be in conduit? I recently read some manufacturers that indicated that some codes require this type of cabling to be installed in conduit but cannot find it in the NEC is it an AHJ thing.

Here is the issue the cable specification does not list a class (as in I, II, or, III) are all cables listed what if the cables are not listed??
