splice in electrical panel ??

Can I Splice My Branch Circuits In An Electrical Panel (wires Are Too Short).

Take a look at 312.8. This says that splices in "Enclosures for Switches or Overcurrent Devices" must not take up more than 75% of the cross-sectional area of the wiring space. Since we are instructed to use not more than 75% of the space for splices, then splices must be allowed.

I sure hope they are allowed, cause I sure have put a lot of wire nut splices in panels where I have extended circuits to generator panels!!!

I splice in panels all the time.
