Splice Time

Yes approx..on a mech splice block.

Go back and re-figure.
Curious time you guys think it would take to complete this splice. 4 # 350' THHN to be spliced on each side of tap block. Wires already cut and ready in box. You must, strip and terminate. I think tagging and taping might be required. ....

Even if everything is ready it's still a half days work and that does not include extra trips to the truck and phone calls because what was supposed to be done and ready never is.

Anyone else have input about this and time? Thanks.

If everything is prepared as you've said then the splicing itself should easily be done in the time that you've allotted.

I think a lot might depend on the size of the splice box so you have comfortable room to work and get the completed splices out of your way.
Also the orientation of the entries of the conduit into the box, how much bending around are you going to be doing. Hopefully not much.:)

Straight entries on on both sides.
