Splice

Hello. We are having a specialty steel are fabricated for an exterior light. It's about 7'Lx4"Hx10"W with two hand holes.
Is UL listing required in order to splice the fixture wires within it? It's like a wireway....almost like a trough. Thanks

IMO, if it not listed as a fixture or a raceway then you cannot splice in it
