My customer is building a new printing press. . The MDP, and automatic transfer switch will bw inside the sprinkler room. Any restrictions on this?

110.26 - under 600V

110.32 + 110.34 - over 600V

Better yet...all of 110.

110.26 (F) states that electrical equipment must have its own dedicated space. Which to me means correct me if I am wrong....6ft above the height of the equipment and should be free of any ductwork, piping etc.

So if there was enough space in front of the equipment as well as 6ft above, then would this situation be compliant?

110.26(F)(1)(c)Sprinkler Protection.
Sprinkler protection shall be permitted for this dedicated space where the piping complies with this section.
