Square D neutral wire rating?

Looking at a panel, I will be adding a sub panel to get rid of the tandems and also will be adding a ev charger.
1) Would anyone know what size these neutral terminals are rated for ( I'm thinking and hoping #4 but maybe #6)The holes with the strip of metal (always wondered what are those pieces of metal for anyway?)
2) these lugs should be ok to added to that neutral bar right? I mean it should be designed to accept the lugs and load.

I would figure on the add-on lug to be certain.

Those lugs you showed are SquareD and I don't see a problem with the 70 amp version fitting.

I don't know that the 100 amp lug will fasten in with an existing lug screw. The screw packaged with it might be too big for the bus.

For the lugs...the part number has the clue...
LK70 - 70A - #12 - #2 Al or #14 - #4 AWG Cu
LK100 - 100A - #6 - 2/0 AWG Al/Cu
LK125 - 125A - #14 - 2/0 AWG Al/Cu
LK150 - 150A - #2 - 3/0 AWG Al/Cu
LK225 - 225A

I did a job the same as you are doing and just used the LK150AN and a 125A breaker to feed the sub-panel next to it.

I'd also check those stranded AL wires on the neutral bar and see if they are covered by the listing...

Wire Sizes for all the PK3GTA through PK27GTA ground bars:
(1) #14 - #4 CU / AL
(2) #14 CU wires
(2) # 12 CU / AL wires
(2) #10 AL wires

I just installed the 100 amp version of that lug on a panel last week. It fits in the same spot as a standard screw. You have to remove three screws per instructions and note the wire is parallel with the bar so it really only works well on the top or bottom of the bar. 70 amp comes in from the side.

FYI, the homeline panel I installed allowed upto #4 conductors in the factory bar.
