Hello,

Did Square-D ever make a QO 20/40 Quad Circuit Breaker?

We have called several used supply houses around the country and have only been met with blank stares.

No, the QO line has never had any real quads. What you're looking for does not exist.

At one point you could get a quad-like kit of two QO 20-30 tandem breakers and a handle tie. It provided two single pole 20A handles and two single pole 30A breakers tied together like a 2-pole breaker, but not really. However that is the only such kit they made AFAIK. No other combos of amps were sold that way and no single pole 40A breakers exist in regular or tandem AFAIK.

Note that Eaton CH breakers, which like QO are only 3/4" wide, also do not have quads.

Trying to free up some space? Probably have to use smaller tandems to free up space for a full size 40. Had someone call last month that had to do the same thing.
