and (I believe) the 1-1/4" set back crowd (llok at the 12/2 NM on the box in the background)

I'm afraid that in this area, that job would be in for a rough road.

Properly known as the AAPUSSIB. The American Association to Prevent the Use of Sheetrock Screws in Boxes.

I see no reason not to have used the nails that were (at one time) on that Carlon box. If not, they make face-nailers for this purpose.

I agree - when you don't have room to swing a hammer
between studs, stackers make things go a lot faster since
you're swinging from outside the wall.
First step, quit using a hammer and start using your kleins.
One less tool to carry around, and much lighter.

That's cheesy using NM to bundle your NM! LOL! Stackers don't cost that much. Swinging Kleins on a staple is no easy matter... Best left for those that don't like thier fingers.

I need more than 1/2" to swing my hammer

They MAKE face nailers but I only stock the 2g multi purpose box on my trucks

Those are bugle headed box screws.

Naw...all the romex is centered on the stud.

The purpose is to keep the cables away from the sheetrock screws.

It's my personal house and it DID pass BTW

'Cuz my hammer also doubles as a tape measure for receptacle boxes.

Can't see anything... the lights aren't on, and I can't plug in a lamp.

I will be honest, I don't own a hammer.
Don't want one. I do have a 4lb. maul:grin:

Not to start anything, but I can probably drive a staple quicker and straighter with my kleins than you can with a hammer.

It's all in what you're used to I guess, that's how I was learned to do it!

How do you drive nails? Boards for ceiling fans, etc?

Do you mean the KO's or the act of stapling on a flat surface?

The KO's are easy.

As far as stapling on them, very carefully:grin:
It's really all in the wrist, angle of the staple, and laser-sharp accuracy
