Does employees have to be a QE to perform a monthly pm and testing on generators ? How about when a loss of power is involved? These are non electrical workers who are incharge of a generator . What if workers are trained by a engineer or a generator repair contractor to do pm and testing can they then be a qualifiy employee ?

What type environment are these employees working in? Privet mfg. plant, industrial plant.

I don't think they do, these are mostly mechanical and if they included voltage & ampere gauges on the sets a mechanic can write down the readings per visit.
