Can I please get some feedback on the following symbols on a switch? These symbols are the IEC symbols for "Standy" and "Power ON". I need labeling for a switch that will indicate the the equipment is NOT able to be serviced with just the power switch in the off position. The familiar "O" for off, according to IEC means that all the power has been removed. For my application, this is not the case. Only the power to the controller and relays have been removed. So technically, the equipment is in standby.
I am afraid that the perception of the "standby" switch is actually "power on", when in fact it is "stand by" or "low power"....
