staple guns, anyone?

The staples guns work very well on the TJI floor joist web. Trying to use regular staples just bounce off the web too much.

The only drawback I see is the cost and the occassion jam.

FWIW the GB staples do not work in the Power Strap gun.

I tried that once; that was all it took. Now, I staple into the top surface of the bottom flange or the bottom surface of the top flange.

However, I do seem to have luck nailing stand-offs into the web. Maybe it's the angle of the nail. See:
