I have a 10 hp 440v 13 amp 60 hz motor and i need to connect a starter for it. I was wondering what type of starter i should connect with this. any suggestions? type?

If you are just wanting to turn the motor off via the starter, a manual motor starter in normally less expensive. if it is started remotely and/or by a "device" then you will need magnetic.
IEC is normally less expensive than NEMA.

i have a space that is 6 1/2 X 4 inches that i need to put this starter in. do you know of any starter that will do what i need it to do and still fit in this tight space?

fault current?

fault current?

what is the fault current available from the supply? make sure you have a starter with matching kA (5, 25, 65, etc). hope i said this right?
