Im trying to research which business model is the most appropriate . DBA, LLC Or partnership. My wife and I are going to be the owners of Electrical and AV business...
DBA or LLC ECT. ?

We are a single member LLC our company is Mr Rewire LLC this is a seperate entity.The purpose of the LLC is it protects our personal assets ftrom any suit brought against the business. Now if we chose we could operate under a different name so we could be IT Services so our bank account would be Mr Rewire LLC ,DBA IT Services. We formed a seperate LLC because we own our building and rent it to our business this protects our assets just in case someone slips on the sidewalk and sues .

I take it that in your area the business being an LLC does not mess up license holder status in any way?
 
Talk to your accountant, but look at S corp. There are distinct advantages here.
