4 years on my own and the thing I underestimated the most is the amount of extra time involved that aren't billable hours, I'm a one man show and It feels like I work 60 hours and only bill for about 30, Like the others said, know your costs and set your rates accordingly, The one positive for me anyways is It's gotten easier and more profitable each year.:grin:
