Re: Stealing electricity & legal recourse

goldstar,
twenty years ago i would agree with you, but what i come across today i'd say they could have made a mistake! today i am going to a 14 story office building to trace 12 meters to see what they feed for the management company. they get thirteen power company bills a month and pay them, but don't know what they feed. and yes i have found where people have been double charged by the power company due to wrong installation paths, guess what - they didn't get refunds. i really think the building will be responsible to make this bill "payed in full" and it will be their responsibility to get the money from the tenants that used it----if possible?

Re: Stealing electricity & legal recourse

report of meter address problem:
(total)fourteen meters - four meters mis-labeled.
six of the fourteen feeder circuit breakers were mis-labled.

and while they were asking a price on installing a variable speed drive on the buildings cooling tower we found a "submeter" in the roof equipment room - the load was about fourty amps - single phase 277/480 volts feeding a roof radio room.
building engineer has never read this meter???
"PCS METRO" is in for a big suprise!!!! i'm sure the lease agreement is now on the building manager's desk!
