I just wondered why we have another series of pictures with no apparent purpose? :-?

I'm glad you said something...am I the only one who finds looking at pictures of junk I see every week pretty boring?

I like the pictures.... It is a good way to break up a Friday..
maybe show some code violations.... would make it more interesting???

anyway, have a good weekend...

I have to admit I kind of like looking at the pictures too. It's interesting for a guy starting out in the trade when someone is trying to explain something they have I can maybe reference in the back of my mind one of these pics and realize it does probably exist and the person isn't nuts

I always laugh when people (not just electricians) talk about the good old days when quality was better. I think most of the time this is in their mind and they forget that lousy quality work has always existed.

The good old days might be old but they weren't always good.

For fun?

You remember fun, right?

HAHA I'm right there with you friz, I like everything electrical. Pictures are definately a nice change from reading lines of code or reading about how much your boss doesnt appreciate you.

Happy friday people!

Very true, there is no difference between people that existed back then and now.

It might make it more interesting to have some kind of story or prelude to the picture. Like in the first picture I can totally see myself telling the person that you might want to think about a service change very soon and having them say something like " well.....its worked for this long and I really don't see any reason to change it now".. and then say some thing like " don't fix what ain't broke"...... followed by a " aw all you guys are the same you just wanna make money off me" Even if that's not what they really said it would be fun to imagine. I'm sure Iwire can remember what story time was like, curling up next to the big Ole vacuum tube radio to listen to " Captain Video...........Just a joke ole Bobby, only cause you made fun of picture time.;)

Ken?

Are you going to defend yourself?

I suppose myself and Bob will be the "odd men out" here, but as I said before looking at old fuse panels isn't really that interesting. I'm more fascinated by cool looking jobs like parallel racks of EMT or a substation or something like that. But that's just me. If you like pictures of old fuse panels, fine by me.

You wouldnt find anything I do very interesting then, as I'm just a residential electrician:)

Just joking with ya!
