I suppose myself and Bob will be the "odd men out" here, but as I said before looking at old fuse panels isn't really that interesting. I'm more fascinated by cool looking jobs like parallel racks of EMT or a substation or something like that. But that's just me. If you like pictures of old fuse panels, fine by me.

Ken. Cover your ears. ;)

I get a little bored with them too.

There should be some back story to go along with them.

I guess when I said fun, I meant that pic threads are helpfull when discussing a topic. But pics, for the sake of pics.....

Ken won't talk to me for a week now.:grin:

You wouldnt find anything I do very interesting then, as I'm just a residential electrician:)

I'm a resi guy too, which is exactly why I find pictures of residential type stuff pretty boring. :D

Add me to the list of those who find picture posts that are simply for the sake of posting a picture or, a bunch of pictures, boring.

There are probably 10 times the number of posts that are serve less of a purpose than the pictures that Ken has posted.

What purpose do they serve? OK, there's a fuse panel with a jumble of wires in it. Most anyone who does residential service changes has seen dozens, hundreds, thousands of them in their career.

Heres a pic I took thursday. I cant find anything right with it. I was there to do another job, and noticed this on my way out. He had some other 'creative stuff' as well.

"His brother in law is an electrician" so I guess that makes him an electrician as well..... :-?

For every person there are different forms/types of entertainment. The pictures as ken has posted are a form of entertainment.

Like any other entertainment, some people like one form, some people like other forms.

It makes him happy, and some of the members?

Ok, but as Bob said, without a backstory they are just a bunch of random pictures. Are these "before" pictures of service changes that Ken did? Fine, let's see the "after" pictures too. That would be much more interesting.

I agree. I'm just stirring the pot for the sake of conversation.

Everyone takes their punches here. Ken's taking his right now.

I could go either way. Post 'em if you want. Look at 'em, or don't.

Mabey there should be a FAQ: When can I post a picture?

.....sorry, I'm a Gemini.

i like the pictures. I see it as kind of a way to decompress after a long week. In fact I look forward to seeing them. I also recognize that it is for pure entertainment. What's wrong with that. TGIF!!!!!!!!!!! Oh wait, I have to work tomorrow.

I find them entertaining, some more than others. A lot of times the posts that follow can be interesting. If you would rather watch tv, go ahead.

What else would you guys have been doing if not venting here about the pictures? Go ahead and vent, throw off some of the mess you had pile up on you all week.

Have you made any effort to bring any joy to your fellow members here? Ken is not getting paid for his efforts. My offer: thanks Ken.

You all have a good weekend.

keep posting pictures, some may find it boring, but there are alot of posts with topics on here I find boring myself, pictures break up the monotony...
