Has anyone ever encountered a storable spa (Outdoor use)? Based on the Manufacturing specs. It states that all you would need is 120V receptacle outlet:confused:. Also stating that "no" special wiring required. I thought other provisions would apply (NEC 680.40). Then again why wouldn't 680.30 apply--outside the required provisions of part 1 and 2 of Article 680. Maybe i'm over thinking this??? Does this mean you can simply ignore the receptacle location requirements?

I have never heard of a "storable"spa. :-? Is this what it is called or is this what you are calling it? Do you have a link?

When I first moved down here there was a company that had setup a hot tub on a trailer and would rent it out for party weekends.

With todays rules I am not sure how one would deal with that. It only needed 120V circuit but , of course, most of the houses had trouble with their circuits tripping the breakers or fuses.

I did one recently that looked just like any other hot tub, but came from the factory with a 20A 120V GFCI cord and plug. I guess that's theoretically storeable, but I don't want to be carrying that thing around.
