Stranded Al to Solid Cu Splice

Sorry to keep you guys in suspense,

The 70 amp single pole is for a power inverter, its a 12 volt dc system I threw together for my place, 240 watts PV, 2 trojan L-16's, and some 12 v compact fluoros. I think 70 amp is the largest anyone makes in a single pole. The supply house even had one lying around, I'd like to know how many of those they sell!

Save the little rectangular common-trip piece and the tie-handle in case you ever need to make a 2-pole from 2 single-poles, especially if you need a non-matching pair of poles.

Now thats is interesting - non-matching poles. I'm trying to think of an application that would require that? A split wired recep fed with 12 guage, the top is 20 amp, the bottom half is 15 because it feeds out to other stuff that is wired with 14 guage. Neutrals nutted and not spliced on the recep of course
