strange electrical occurence/ outdoor motion/ sensor res

Gentleman,
We have a strange electrical occurrence regarding some outdoor residential motion sensor lights. We have a motion detector/sensor mounted outside of a master bedroom next to a sliding glass door, and controlled by a single pole wall switch left in the on or normal position. This is next to the sliding door. This is the normal position for the motion/sensor light to operate, and it does so. However, when the bath or laundry ceiling exhaust fan, (which are on the same circuit as the motion/sensor light), are turned on, then turned off, the motionlightcomes on. This same thing happens on the other side of the house also.

Seems like it would have to be the inductive "kick" that occurs when the circuit to the fan motor is opened.

Can you put them on separate circuits? Try a temporary feed to the light from a separate circuit.

Do these fans have heaters with them? Sounds like a momentary drop in voltage is turning the lamp on. You would not get an inductive kick from turning a fan on, and I can't see it getting into the AC line when turning a fan off.
