Id like to hear others opinions, as i am a strict metal guy.... Maybe i will:roll:

This seems to be a regional thing. In RI (my home state), most services are SE cable. However, I am starting to see a lot more PVC being used in the past few years. Most commercial services are PVC.

In CT, PVC is more common than SE cable, but both are still installed new.

I almost never see metal conduit used for a service, unless it's an underground riser in a "damage prone" area.
