the piece of MI cable we had on the teachers desk in school had a black covering over it. im pretty sure i seen the copper MI in the field at buildings that had us do a service call but never really known what it was. always thought it was some kind of hydraulic line or something. thanks guys. i hope i get to use it in the future looks pretty interesting.
ive terminated MV cable in a power company transformer before and it wasnt that tough so MI cant really be that hard just takes lots of practice like anything else.
do people use MI cable for general lighting like fixtures and receptacles?
