That's how I have done it! Works Great! Pipe and wire is the way to go so when the post light or what ever, needs to be changed out you'll be all set.hillbilly said:I'm gonna try that.

LarryFine said:Believe it or not, it works just as well on UF as it does on NM. Just squeeze to cut the covering, push with your thumb to separate the covering, ease off ever so slightly, and pull. As long as you keep the stripper perpendicular to the cable, it doesn't do any more insulation damage than it does with NM.

Stripping UF is just like removing a Bra from your girlfriend or wife.
A sharp knife & a little finese goes a lot farther than brut force.
