Strobes in a loop

Trying to trace out the FA strobe loop. Is there another way figure out how many strobe's are in a loop beside just poking my head in the ceiling and following it

Thanks for your time

Are they all still wired together? You can just put 24 volts on one part of the loop and see how many fire up. I used to test old strobes by connecting them to the 18 volt battery from my cordless drill.

I'd say infinity's suggestion is the best option. You may have more success getting this approved if you do it after normal business hours, assuming the place isn't running 24/7.

It was suggested that I could measure the ohms on the loop and apparently it's writing on the strobe...then I add it up

The final issue in using resistance is that the loop is reverse biased for supervision at about 13 VDC, and every strobe has a diode in it.
