Strong Spa Hot Tub Breaker Size

Plate calls for 230V 60Hz 21AMPS

Would 30 in breaker box feeding 40 amp gfci breaker disconnect be fine?? The plate says 21 amp and the manual calls for 40 amp gfci

About 20 ft from house breaker box to outside disconnect and less than 10 from there to tub, plan to run #6 awg

thoughts?
